Lee across the Potomac. On the front flyleaf is an inscription, in pencil, from the author's brother acknowledging this piece as a gift - " A.H. Cudworth, from brother feb23rd, 1866". Full brown morocco with raised bands and gilt titling to spine. All edges gilt. Square tight binding. Clean interior. Mild rubbing, more so along the edges. Sporadic foxing to outer pages. Marbled end papers. A handsome edition and wonderful piece of Massachusetts Civil War history.
