Barry, one of the illustrations is large and depicts Mrs. Howe sitting in a chair playing a guitar, Mrs. Howe is famous for writing the poem "Battle Hymn Of The Republic" which was set to the tune of "John Brown's Body" and became an important marching song for troops in the Civil War (Very Historic) -- Page 691 has a full page photo illustration titled "The Washington National League Baseball Team of 1895" -- Pages 692 through 698 contain an extensive article titled "Where Savages Walk On Gold" accompanied by 14 photo illustrations (South Africa) -- Page 687 has a full page of 12 photo illustrations titled "Adolf Link, A Remarkable Character Actor" -- Many Other Illustrations and articles --.
