Tirage limité à 250 exemplaires, celui-ci l?un des 239 sur Arches, seul tirage après 11 Japon. Exemplaire signé et numéroté par Blatas. Préface du Mime Marceau. Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur la page de titre, les lithographies de cet exemplaire ne sont pas signées et numérotées par l'artiste, seule la justification l'est. Cet ouvrage fait suite à l'exposition "15 Attitudes of Marcel Marceau by Arbit Blatas", qui eut lieu au City Center de New York en 1958. Une grande amitié liait les deux hommes. Marceau (1923-2007), considéré comme le plus grand mime contemporain, a été l'une des sources d'inspiration les plus importantes dans la carrière de Blatas, qui lui consacra de nombreuses oeuvres. Des portraits d'envergure, des études à petite échelle, peintes ou lithographiées, ou encore des sculptures ont maintes fois capturé les gestes et expressions du personnage Bip, qui connut un succès international dès sa création par le mime en 1947.
