1st edition. Fingringhoe is a scattered village situated near the mouth of the River Colne. Pp.54, black & white photo frontispiece + 16 further black & white photo plates and 3 illustrations in the text, pencil notation to inside front board and another to lower margin of p.46, slight toning to endpapers. Blue cloth has some spotted discolouration, edges rubbed, spine slightly darkened. Good.

Externally smart with only minor shelf wear and some marking to the front board and spine, the head and tail of the spine as well as the extremities are slightly bumped. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor spotting to the fore edge, affecting only the occasional margin, otherwise the pages are generally bright and clean throughout. Illustrated with twenty seven leaves of full page plates. Collated, complete. Very Good. book.
