Incunabula scientifica et medica (1938), the book takes a distinct approach. "The present volume consists of a selection of texts significant either in themselves or as representative handbooks of the period. It emphasizes their initial printing, whether issued independently or alongside other works. The volume comprises two main parts. The first catalogs important and representative texts organized alphabetically by authors within each of the six disciplines covered in the volume--Astronomy, Mathematics, Medicine, Natural Science, Physics, and Technology. The second part aims to list the same texts in a unified chronology, based on the dates of their initial printing. It also provides information on authors by periods, the locations of printing, the printers and publishers, as well as commentators, editors, and translators." (from the Introduction).
