1773 COPPER ENGRAVING RARE ANTIQUE BOOKPLATE PRINT A SCENE IN THE GARDENS OF PAIN'S HILL This fine seat, which is near Cobham in Surrey, at the distance of about 20 miles from London, belongs to the Honorable Mr. Charles Hamilton, who has made great improvements, by inclosing a large tract of barren land, which though so poor as to produce nothing but heath and broom, he has so well cultivated and adorned, that few places are equal to it. Th whole place is about 5 miles round, it is laid out in the modern taste, and planted with a beautiful variety of trees, plants and flowers. PUBLISHED DATE 1773 LONDON PRINTED FOR R. The image is clean, clear and sharp with beautiful depth and detail.This beautiful rare item would look great matted and framed.
