Andrew Logan [British 1945- ] English sculptor, performance artist, jewellery-maker, Born in Oxford in 1945, He was educated as an architect at the Oxford School of Architecture, graduating in 1970.he qualified in architecture in the late 1960s and has worked across the fields of sculpture, stage design, drama, opera, parades, festivals and interior design. To him, "Art can be discovered anywhere." Logan crosses cultures and embodies artistic fantasy in a unique and unprecedented way. His work is the art of popular poetry and metropolitan glamour. From his early fame amongst London s fashionable crowd, he has become an influential artist of international stature, with exhibitions as far afield as Los Angeles (USA), Monterrey (Mexico) and St Petersburg (He was educated as an architect at the Oxford School of Architecture, graduating in 1970. He founded the Aleternative Miss World in 1972 which he continued to run as of 2018. He influenced film-maker Derek Jarman, whose early film-making work documented the social scene around Logan and his studios at Butler s Wharf, London.Malcolmn McLaren and Vivianne Westwood staged the "Valentine s Ball", at which the Punk Rock group, the Sex Pistols,first came to media attention, at his studios in 1976.
