Original catalogue cover design, hand-drawn and hand-coloured on paper by Ben Johnson & Company. Single sided. Measures a little under 8.25" x 5" (20.5cm x 12.75cm). 'Ben Johnson Printers and Stationers' stamp to rear, dated June 10th, 1891. 'Front' inscribed in pencil to lower margin. Surface residue to rear centre and extremities, where it has been fixed down at some point. Rear is tanned and marked. Otherwise front showing some tanning and marking here and there, commensurate with age. Remains a nice original example nonetheless.
