A single original antique handcoloured aquatint engraving from A Series of Portraits of those Distinguished Persons who were the founders of colleges and public buildings in the universities of Oxford. From pictures in that university and from private collections. This one being a fine illustration of King Edward II founder of Oriel College. Published by R. Ackermann for his history of Oxford in 1814. Each illustration beautifully handcoloured within a ruled washed border and titled beneath. Image size approx 17 x 14cm.
