The Benedictine monastery of St Leonards, founded in the 7th century, of,which there are some Norman and later remains Photo-Lithographed & Printed by James Akerman, 51 Grays Inn Road W. C. PRINT IS DATED AT THE TOP MARGIN AREA. Originates from an architectural & engineering art journal "The Building News" circa 1870s. The journal contained many plates showing architectural drawings & details of buildings, furniture & interiors; plans & elevations of award winning designs. Some of the designs were presentation drawings that may not have been the final draft. A Great View of the Past! - Historical Collection Piece! Approximate Image Size: 7 X 10 1/2 inches Approximate Overall Size: 8 X 12 1/2 inches CONDITION: Suitable browning from age with mild spots and mild creasing, otherwise still in Very Good Condition for it's age.
