Contents are organised over 5 sections, thematically treated. Authors include Henry Handel Richardson, Katharine Susannah Prichard and others. [NB. In some stories, the language used resonates with the cultural attitudes of the time and is thus of specific interest to readers and researchers because of this]. On the front cover there are marks from (probably) cup-rings and small creases are evident on the spine. Other minor rubs to covers.
