There are two small envelopes affixed to the rear inside cover which contain short handwritten notes from Norden as well. In this book the German-American explorer describes a journey, via Capetown, through Zanzibar, Kenya and Uganda, with much on the native peoples encountered and their customs. A very worn copy of this book which was found in a dusty old attic. The covers are rubbed and edgeworn and have some spotting, especially the rear cover. The spine is darkened and a bit dulled. The text is good with some scattered heavy soiling. The top edge of the textblock is quite spotted and soiled, affecting the upper margin of some of the pages. The frontispiece is chipped at the right side. N° de ref. de la librería 9092
