Ward Lock & Co's Harrogate, Ilkley, York and the Yorkshire Dales (Illustrated Guide Book) Paperback with cloth covering, circa 1940, illustrated, published by Ward, Lock & Co., Limited, London, 168 pages + directory and many pages of contemporary advertisements. Measures around 6 3/4" by 4 1/4" by 1/2". Red cloth on flexible card binding, black lettering and pictorial detail. Some marking and scuffing to binding though colouring still vivid. Creasing to front board, tear on inside. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Some slackness to binding and strained throughout. Page edges browned, scuffed and a bit marked.
