[From introduction] "IN VITRO" is the name given to the research into painting in between sheets of glass, conceived and developed over the past 3 years. This exhibit is the natural consequence of the evolution of this work and its purpose is to disclose the technique developed up to now, as well as the various visions this new method reveals to us. Some recollections seem to me important, to enlighten the reader: in the early 60's, when, still young and an interest in painting was aroused in a me, I heard for the first time in the friendly voice of Clarival Valladares, the question which is today the response to these 30 years dedicated to Art: "Spatiality as an aesthetic basis should be questioned, not only as a support for the object, but merged with it, making a single indivisible whole." When the blueprint - a labyrinth of mirrors - with its environmental and sensorial propositions was to be implemented in 1970 - it came to naught because the planned materials were not available. The idea of researching sheet glass as a medium arose from a conversation with Sergio Bernardes. The first Contacts were made with BLINDEX in Sao Paula and experiments then began. The project called fro a great deal of work and full support form BLINDEX. The aim of "IN VITRO" is to afford people an opportunity for rethinking the relationship between art, industry and architecture. N° de ref. del artículo 20200421002
