Descripción de la librería

Creed's Books was founded in Berkeley, CA, in 1923. Creed's Books online store consists of old and rare books from the personal collection of Mr. Thomas Creed, who emigrated from England and opened Creed's Books just outside the Sather Gate entrance to the University of California. Creed's Books remained a popular place for West Coast booklovers until the 1970s, at one point being located adjacent to the famous Cody's Bookstore on Telegraph Ave. Throughout the years, as he purchased books for his store, Thomas Creed amassed more than 600 books in his own personal collection. In addition, many first editions and other old and rare volumes were sent to him from England by family members. Many of the unique books on our site have been untouched in storage for more than 75 years.
