Book condition: fair, very scarce, wonderful collection of both tipped in illustrations along with those found throughout the text, ex-library, two color plates, a silver morning on the lagoon and in the glow of the afternoon, are missing while two plates, gondola landing public garden is affixed at an angle and off San Pietro di Capella is detached with a small tear to upper right corner, half bound in red leather and brown cloth the boards feature a beautiful gilt illustration on the front which is a bit darkened, corners scuffed, two thin scuff marks to upper left, back cloth scuffed and stained, spine features four raised bands and gilt lettering, spine tail shows small piece at bottom right missing with a two inch tear at left edge which has lifted the spine piece, small catalog sticker at bottom, a four inch piece of the spine is missing at spine head, library sticker on front pastedown, card pocket on back pastedown, title page shows a two inch tear at lower right that has been fixed with yellow tape, there is also a raised library stamp at bottom, on the next two pages there are brief notes in pencil and two small library stamps, overall the interior is very clean, binding tight, 160 pages, 12.75 X 16.75 inches.
