21 x 15 cm. .56 page pamphlet containing ten statements made from the dock by mainly ANC political prisoners . What makes this item of great interest is the written note from the editor Mary Benson in which she delivers a message from Bram Fischer ,who was serving a life sentence in Pretoria, to 'M. P.' whom Fischer met in 1934 in Oxford. The book is a present to M. P. from the editor who writes 'I thought you'd like this with his statement included.'. One problem is that ex owner's have signed the book on the opposite page. However, Flav.was a political prisoner in Brazil so the signature is fitting in a sense.
