The third book by Hunter and a great follow up to the excellent novels, Master Sniper and The Spanish Gambit. Hunter has been likened to a combination of Le Carre and Robert Ludlum. Book is in Near-Fine condition. Tops of boards have insignificant bumps and show the barest of wear. Spine is straight. No dog ears or tears and the only marking is a very tiny "1st ed" penciled on to half-title page. Text block is clean and bright. Book has been flat-signed by author. First Edition, First Printing. Full number line is present. Crown. 1985. Near-Fine DJ is mylar-enclosed and is incredibly bright and colorful and looks brand new. No fading whatsoever. Tiniest of wrinkles to top corners of front and rear DJ and minor wrinkle at base of spine. No chips or tears and $15.95 issue price is present. This book was flat-signed by Stephen Hunter at The Poisoned Pen in January of 2013. This is an especially nice copy. N° de ref. de la librería ABE-10635176896
