Written by her grieving husband to memorialize her for his sons, it is a poignant and meticulously written work, combining biography with personal reminiscences with a paean to the woman he loved, who was taken at the age of 39 from him and their two sons. The author, a Methodist minister, Rev. Oliver Wertz Hutchinson (1856-1922), appears to have completed the work on Thursday, November 4, 1909, the day he signed the introduction, just five months after her death. Contents: Introduction; Genealogy; Childhood and Youth; Student and Teacher: Life at the Ohio Wesleyan University; Love and Marriage; Life at Medford: First Year in a Parsonage; Life at Watertown; Life at Cambridge; Life at Leominster; Removal to Holyoke; Translation from Her Girlhood Home to Her Heavenly Home. An incredibly lucid and even vivid portrait of the life of a young wife of a Methodist minister in the Midwest at the turn of the twentieth century. N° de ref. del artículo SP41-0212-11756
