The Binding is black boards (color uniform throughout) with gilt title, etc., to spine, all corners square and sharp, and a small puncture hole to spine. The Dust Jacket is bright and intact, with two tears to the top edge closed from behind with archival (pH neutral) materials, and a small puncture hole to spine. See photos. 341 + i pages. 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" . A political thriller about an attempted military coup in the United States, the novel was nominated for the 1989 Prometheus Hall of Fame Award.
