Illustrated by Charles Robinson with eight full page colour plates and numerous line illustrations throughout (all colour plates are present as listed). Story of a garden at Villino Loki. Illustrated plan on the front endpaper. The front endpaper has a small blank corner piece missing. Rear endpaper has some corner tearing but pictorial image is intact. Original sage green cloth with gilt titling which is a little darkened at the spine. Slight foredge spotting and cover slightly marked. However, a good copy of a very attractive item. Green Cloth. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. 304pp. 1914. First edition. A very good, clean, tight copy in original publisher's green cloth - gilt embossed to the spine and to the front board. Eight beautiful colour plates illustrated by Charles Robinson including the frontispiece - as called for. A plan of the gardens of the Villino Loki to the front endpapers. Upper fore-edge dyed green as it should be. The gilt to the spine somewhat dulled. Some light foxing to the fore-edges and to the endpapers. Slight scattered foxing. A bump to the leading edge of the front board and likewise on to the rear. Several corners turned in. Light rubbing to the cloth on the lower board corners. Light or slight splitting to the front inner hinge. A very short 6mm tear to the lower margin of the 'summer' plate - now expertly repaired/closed and bearly noticable.
