Signed to front endpapers by 23 Spurs players and staff from the 1950s, including Ditchburn, Norman, Smith, Blanchflower, Bill Nicholson, Charlie Withers, Baker, Hopkins, Walley, Marchi, Brooks, Hills, Jim Collins, Tommy Bing, Cecil Poynton, Frank Smith, Sonny Walters, Reynolds, Stokes, Ryden, Harry Clarke and two others. Signed to the next page by the 1956 England under 23 team (12 in total) who played Denmark and France in late 1956 - these include Alan Hodgkinson, Jimmy Armfield, Graham Shaw, Ronnie Clayton, R. Neal, Bryan Douglas, Jimmy Bloomfield, Gerry Hitchens, Alick Jeffrey, A. Cheesbrough, Ron Flowers and Eddie Hopkinson. It was in the French game that Alick Jeffrey famously sustained a broken leg.
