In the Matter of the Suspension of rates of the SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY for its exchange at Aurora, Missouri. Case No. 2371. Submitted April 16, 1920. Decided May 24, 1920. 1 Valuation: Tentative: Subsequent proceedings. The tentative value of telephone utility property is determined after a consideration of the value of net additions to plant subsequent to prior valuation. 2 Return: Depreciation: Telephone: Amount. An increase in income of 744, subject to the payment of 572 for inerease in wages, to a telephone utility earning 1, 730 for return and depreciation while entitled to an income of 5, 172. 14 therefor, is not unreasonable. 3 Rates: Telephone: Business: Cost of service. A monthly increase of 50c for business telephone service, not placing an undue burden upon such patrons, is approved that increased expenses of operation may be met by a utility not earni. . .
