** NOT EX-LIBRARY ** COMPLETE AND UNABRIDGED EDITION ** 258 pages. With 8 wonderful full-page, full-color plates on glossy paper by Charles Folkard, and with numerous black-&-white drawings in the text, and several also full-page. This is the original complete and uncut story, not a watered-down, abridged version. A surprisingly clean, bright sound copy of this nice edition, from the early to mid-1920's (previous owner's inscription on one blank front page, dated 1927). The book is bound in very sturdy dark brown cloth-covered boards with a delightful full-color Folkard illustration on the front, bright gilt-lettered spine, pictorial endpapers. The book is very clean, just a very few small spots of brief, extremely occasional light soil to the front. Book is very firm and tight in its binding, square and straight, text-block intact and unbroken and still firmly attached to the backstrip, no pages loose, missing, or torn. Hinges sound, corners unbumped. All pages remain surprisingly bright and white, are unsoiled, and all text is crisp, sharp and very legible. Color illustrations remain bright and vivid. Aside from the previously mentioned inscription, there is no writing, underlining, highlighting or markings of any kind in the book. The cloth binding shows virtually no wear, no tears, no fraying, no wear-throughs. Classic book, a terrific complete edition with wonderful illustrations. N° de ref. de la librería 011358
