Crown octavo. Pp. vii, 194. Appendices, indices, footnotes. Hardcover, bound in the original green cloth, lettered in gilt. In a very good condition. ~ Sixth edition. "Palestine is awakening to new life, and Israel actually returning to its shores," opens the book, which celebrates "the restoration of the Jews" as a sign that "the mystery of God is about to finish." With interesting appendices about farming in Palestine, the scenery of the land, the Papal railway, the state of Europe and Russia. With detailed General Index and Index of Texts, which lists all passages of scripture explained or referred to in the text. A small flower has been dry pressed between two leaves of this copy, and is still preserved. It would be appropriate to assume that it has been picked, at one time or another, in the hillsides of Palestine. N° de ref. de la librería 5248
