A good copy of this 'improving' book for girls in reprint by the Religious Tract Society. Undated but c. 1930. No Dust Jacket (as issued). Cover: green cloth covered boards with wild flower images in red and dark green to front and spine, red lettering in gold cartouche to front and green embossed lettering in gold cartouche to spine; ve4y clean and bright for its age; bumping to top and bottom of spine, just a few other signs of shelf wear commensurate with age and use. Internally: clean and soundly bound but crack in text block pp, 96-128, but webbing still holding, no loss; scratched out Sunday School Prize plate to inside front cover, also small book seller's sticker from James Atkinson, Ulverston; some darkening to page edges but pages very bright for their age. Black and white Frontispiece and another full page illustration facing p 83 ;line drawn decorative chapter headings throughout 192 pp. N° de ref. del artículo 002788
