A very good contemporary full leather binding with central brass clasp (in working order), and all of the maps. 8vo. 8.0" x 5.0" x 1.75". Black polished calf with rubbed gilt filet border. Hinges carefully strengthened. Spine with 5 raised bands, rubbed gilt decoration and old red leather title label. Red page edges. Grey endpapers. Inner hinges carefully strengthend. bookplate to verso of the front board: "Ex Libris Oliver Collection No. 707". Folded map of England and Wales as frontis, with small repairs to edges (not affecting the map. Printed title page. With copyright notice on verso of title, threatening pirates with prosecution.
