slightly faintly printed t.p. with second title and pub. in red, main title and author in green, xxxviii+536+ errata + (4, 2 pp. puff for this book+2 pp. pub. notices); quite skillfully rebacked with new endpapers but externally the joints now light in colour, small round lib. stamp to lower front end-paper and again, with tiny lib.no., verso t.p., glossy rectangular label ghost to lower spine, front pastedown has label identifying book as having been part of an academic's personal library, with Bible quote; browning to pp.vi through to about p. xxi then just occ. spots and faint edge browning. Blind-stamped brown cloth covers generally clean, corners rubbed, slight variation in pigmentation due to surface rubbing and sun-fading to top front strip, spine ends rubbed but this now relaid. A very scarce and quite original, if quirky, work anticipating much later discussion of the language/thought/mind relationship in philosophy, psychology and anthropology. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range. N° de ref. del artículo 008923
