First hardback edition, limited to 300 numbered copies. *Originally dtx0 published in September 1922 as Number 121 in the Weekly Telegraph Novel paperback series, then republished (again as a paperback) in 1932 by Mellifont Press. In 2014 Norman Wright issued a reprint of the present, with a dust wrapper. In the Preface, the publishers suggest that Johns 'probably wrote this romantic flying adventure during a short period of unemployment after discharge from the R.A.F. in 1919'.
