Founded in 1991, Matthew Marks Gallery represents twenty-four European and American artists working in a range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, film, video, drawing, and printmaking. The gallery maintains five exhibition spaces in New York and Los Angeles totaling more than 19,000 square feet. Since 1991 the gallery has published over seventy-five exhibition catalogues, monographs, and artist's books, and over forty posters.
