Published in New York by The Mershon Company in 1891 this is an attractive early American edition of this Jules Verne adventure novel, with the action taking place in America, on the seas and in Australia, featuring pictorial covers titled in gilt to the spine, internally well illustrated, 7.5 inches tall approx. the covers have some mild darkening and light edge rubbing wear, internally some cracking to inner joints but book still firm, cheap paper stock has heavily browned throughout, else in good general condition.
