Lost Horizon by James Hilton is a famous, endearing novel of Shangri-La which had a culturally definitive impact. This particular copy is in good to very good condition, but there is some damage that appears to, perhaps, be rooted in the mastication of traditional pests of the attic. This is minor, but notable. Other than these two triangular areas of damage, the book is in pristine condition and only features regular wear and tear for an edition published in 1963. This is the 47th printing of the 1939 edition, and features the silver-colored spine. This edition was only 35 cents originally, and that is also printed on the cover. Some writing in ink is on the very last page, that which is unnumbered and used for marketing purposes. The book features an original advert for TIME magazine as ephemera in the center, indicating it has likely never been read. Outside the notable, but minor, damage on the bottom edges of the book, this is a fine copy, and even with said damage, this book's cover art, size, and 35 cent price under the "Pocket Books" kangaroo on the cover make it a fine piece for display in any collection. Barring that, it sits well in the binding and is readable. 169 numbered pages. N° de ref. del artículo ABE-1705427447651
