This is the Twenty-Fifth Impression, published by L. C. Page & Company Publishers, Boston, October 1943. 12mo, 19.8 cm x 14 cm x 3.3 cm, Light blue cloth-covered boards, Gilt embossed lettering on spine & front cover, Clear embossed 'The Little Colonel' Trade Mark on back cover, Matt printed dust-jacket. 295 pages. Weight: 453 Grams. CONTENTS ARE LIKE NEW!!! However, dust-jacket is age tanned, discoloured, foxed, scuffed & creased in places, lightly marked on front flap, edges frayed, creased & torn, tiny pieces missing from flap corners & from edges. BOOK IN GREAT SHAPE: Spine is discoloured but remains clean & sturdy, slightly bumped & scuffed either end, gilt bright, binding tight! Cover is clean, discoloured round edges & alongside spine, a little edge wear. Top corners are straight, bottom ones slightly bumped, all a bit scuffed. Ink annotation (name) on 1st end paper, slight transfer of ink onto front pastedown & dust-jacket flap. Very light age tanning throughout. RARE ITEM, BOOK IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!!!
