Endbands lightly crushed from shelf wear. Leather peeling along edges. Map in good working order, slightly misshapen, but ok! Interior lightly toned with scattered foxing. Free of known markings. Binding intact. Please see photos. 59341.["Pazos Kanki.,.Bolivian historian, journalist and politician, born in Ilabayá (Upper Peru, Bolivia) in 1779 and died in Buenos Aires in 1853. His real name was Vicente Pazos Silva. He belonged to the Bolivian indigenous people of the Aymaras. He studied at the seminary of his native town and was ordained a priest. He later obtained a doctorate in Theology and Law from the University of La Paz. He exercised his ministry in the Bolivian capital, where he came into contact with the lawyer and journalist Argentinian Mariano Moreno, activist of the River Plate independence movement. His growing interest in Argentine politics led him to move to Buenos Aires, where he joined the Buenos Aires revolution of May 1810 and began his career as a journalist. He replaced Pedro José Agrelo at the head of the newspaper La Gaceta de Buenos Aires, whose address he occupied between 1811 and 1812. He founded the newspaper El Censor, from whose pages he defended the liberal ideology. unvirato in October 1812 was arrested and exiled. He settled in London, where he converted to Protestantism and hung up the habits to get married. He returned to Argentina in 1815 and resumed his journalistic work.".
