Columbia Pictures, Publicity & Promotion Dept, Burbank, CA, 1979. Publicity materials for the now-classic 1979 film which starred Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep and Jane Alexander. The film won the Best Picture Oscar, as well as Academy Awards for Hoffman, Streep, and two for Robert Benton, for directing and his adaptation of the screenplay. A glossy paper folder contains a stapled 25-page synopsis of the film, also biographies of the principle actors, the writer/director Robert Benton, as well as short pieces on Hoffman's and Streep's preparations for the film, plus five (5) 8 x 10 inch glossy photographs with printed captions (see all pics). Outer folder has wrinkles, pressure creases, a paper clip impression, a surface blemish and a small coffee splash. Paper contents are very good with some signs of handling.
