Publisher's original colour printed paper covered boards illustrating Jack dressed as a cowboy holding rifle and riding a wooden barrel, his dog Spot barking, a broom head is sticking out of the front of the barrel which is painted to resemble the horse's head. Quarto. 10½'' x 7½''. Contains 28 printed pages of text with blue and red illustrations around the text to each page. First lines to the first page 'Now, this is a tale about a boy whose name you do not know, He lived in the Wild and Wookey West, In a town called Touch and Go.' The paper covering around the spine is missing which has left the contents detached as they where stapled very lightly through this paper spine, contents and the boards in Very Good clean and bright condition, very scarce.
