Two volumes. The second edition, published at 16s 6d. 'The work contains a reference to the decrease of birds, owning to the progress of factories in Scotland. With a large folding hand coloured map, one other map, two folding charts & two plates. One of the charts a little foxed, otherwise a clean & pleasant copy. Bound in contemporary half calf, the spines in five panels, gilt, the boards marbled. Very small area of loss of leather to first volume to the number panel and tiny 6mm. split to lower rear hinge.
