** NOT EX-LIBRARY ** CLEAN, STAIN-FREE, UNMARKED ** GIFT QUALITY ** 244 pages. Scarce title. With numerous photographs. Signed by the author on the title page. Langdon is commonly included among the " Big Four" of American silent comedy, with Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, and Harold Lloyd, yet, until publication of this book, little was known of his life and his art. In sturdy red cloth-covered boards with bright gilt lettered spine. The book itself is essentially flawless, a spot of light discoloration to the cloth near the bottom of the spine, book has no other notable flaws. The book is exceptionally clean, square and straight, and is very firm and tight in its binding, no pages loose, torn, or missing. Hinges sound and undamaged, corners unbumped. There is no writing, underlining or highlighting in the book. The dustjacket is very clean, complete and intact, no tears, no chips, no pieces missing, no wrinkles, folds or creases, just a very brief touch of extremely occasional wear at the edges and some slight age-toning to the white areas of the rear panel and the fold-ins. An exceedingly nice, collectible copy of this very scarce, much sought-after title. Jacket in removable clear mylar protective cover. N° de ref. de la librería 012046
