Four Volumes: Green cloth hardbacks, with decorative gilt titles to both front boards and spines. No dust jackets. All four books are in reasonably good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. No publication date printed, they were probably published from the early part of the 20th century. Volume I: 624 pages, small tear to top of spine, pages 337-338 are loose. Volume II: 625-1176 pages. Pen & Ink signature on top of first blank page. Volume III: pages 1177-I696. Volume IV: pages 1697-2216. All text, and lovely illustrations are in good, clean, readable order. Inside front board on volumes I, III & IV is a name label. Please note all four books weigh approximately 9 kgs in weight, therefore postage will increase from listed price, depending on final destination. All four volumes, have been well used, with a small amount of wear, however they are fantastic books that encapsulate Britain at its best and its so interesting to see how Britain looked at the early part of the twentieth century, as some of the illustrations/pictures are so captivating and beautiful.
