Título: General William Booth Enters Into Heaven and...
Editorial: Mitchell Kennerly, New York
Año de publicación: 1915
Condición de la sobrecubierta: Dust Jacket Included
Small 8vo. Burgundy cloth. 119pp. Good plus. Tight-hinged and internally near fine, but front board has several small, homely splotches. Early printing of the vagabond Illinois poet's first trade book -- lacks jacket, but otherwise a tight and decent copy. Nice provenance, hailing from the library of Senator Adlai E. Stevenson III (b. 1930) and before him from his father, Illinois governor and two-time presidential candidate Adlai E. Stevenson II (1900-65) -- likely from the books of his wife, noted socialite -- and poetry buff -- Ellen Borden Stevenson (1908-72). N° de ref. de la librería 39181
