Dark blue, textured cloth, with titling gilt on the spine. The upper portion of the outer front hinge shows a one inch split to the cloth, bump to the front cover corner, light wear to cover corners, edges, dusting to rough top-edge; some age-related tanning to endpapers, page margins, small, marginal erasure on pp. 369-370. A near fine to very good copy of a rather fragile type of book. With the bookplate of Cleveland, Ohio based book collector, William G. Mather (1857-1951), on the front paste-down endpaper.
