Published by Ernest Nister in London and E. P. Dutton in New York. Undated but a date in ink on the title page would suggest 1917. Size: 25.5 x 20.5 cms or 10 x 8 1/4 inches. Page number: 32 with 3 pages of advertisements at the rear. Hardcover. Illustrated paper boards with green cloth spine. A collection of stories. One colour illustration opposite the title page and many in black and white. Condition: Very Good. The cover is quite clean and only slightly worn. The spine and corners are just a little rubbed. The pages within are, but for a few marks, quite clean and fresh. A couple of pictures were coloured in but they have been successfully cleaned up. Traces still remain however and one picture is slightly damaged in consequence of the clean up. This is shown in the fifth picture. The binding was slightly loose. It has been neatly repaired in two places - at the front and the back. One of these repairs is visible in the second photograph. A previous owners name, the name of his Sunday school and the date are written on the endpaper; There is also a stamp on this page bearing the owners name. There is no jacket.
