7" X 10", 64pgs. Well used copy quite clean inside with a few items having a note in ink indicating the price it was sold for. Well illustrated with black & white photos. This was one of the most important sales of Canadian Indian Artefacts. There was a controverse about this sale and a contestation the day of the sale. Two documents comes with this "Catalogue". The first one is entitled "Protest of Manitou Community College on the largest sale of Indian Art ever held in Canada - 7 May 1975 /// Declaration du College Manitou au sujet de la plus grande vente d'objets d'art indiens dans l'histoire du Canada: Le 7 mai 1975". The second document is an article extracted from LA PRESSE entitled "Des Indiens pertubent une vente à l'encan "Voulez-vous nous acheter, aussi ? "". See photo. B-44.
