Book condition: good, very scarce 1898 publication, no author credited, b/w frontis illustration faces, in red, the alphabet in upper and lower case along with the numbers 1-9 plus the 0, the following pages feature each letter in upper and lower case, a child's name, with the exception of X and Y, and a four line poem, on the facing page is a full page b/w illustration, boards feature a full page, full color illustration on the front and show scuffing to corners, light soiling to back, back hinge has separated and has pulled away from the binding, name in pencil on ffep, page numbers have been penciled in at the upper outside corner of each page otherwise interior clean, 8 X 9.5 inches.
