Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy. ~SP13~ [1.5P] Volume Three ONLY of the twenty-volume compilation of Du Bois family genealogy. The Du Bois families were early colonial settlers in Ulster County, New York. Each volume has an index at rear. Jacques Du Bois (1628-ca. 1677), a Huguenot, immigrated to The Netherlands, and married Pierrone Bentyn at Leyden. They immigrated in 1675 to Esopus (now Kingston), New York. Descendants lived throughout the United States and elsewhere.
