Reseña del editor:
In "Fragments from the Past", Randolph O'Hara takes the reader on a nostalgic trip back to his childhood days in Burma, recalling a life of hardship and at times hunger, yet rich in the remembrance of simple pleasures and warm human relationships. The impoverished circumstances of his upbringing are recalled as the motivation for the self reliance and bravery that he was able to develop - characteristics that, when later leaving his home forever, no doubt enabled him to forge a successful life in his newly adopted country. This is a poignant memoir about growing up in Burma. "Fragments of the Past" is a testimony to the importance of remembering one's past, no matter how far away one travels, nor how high one rises.
