Jan Cornelis is the vice-rector of research at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels) and head of the university's electronics and information-processing department. He is also a consultant professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xian, China, and a member of the board of directors of the Interuniversity MicroElectronics Centre in Leuven, Belgium. Marleen Wynants is the operational director of the CROSSTALKS program and a contributor to JANUS magazine. They are the coeditors of How Open Is the Future?
