Reseña del editor:
This is a research work about Tres and Los perros románticos, the first books of poems published in Spain by the Chilean Roberto Bolaño, worldwide known after his narrative works. Roberto Bolaño, author of novels of which critical and public success exceeded all expectations, like Los detectives salvajes (The Savage detectives) and 2666, became, after his death, a best seller not only in the hispanic world but also in some English-speaking countries, such as the USA. These texts bring part of the content of La Universidad Desconocida, posthumous and final collection of Bolaño´s poetry, compiled and arranged by himself. The reader of Bolaño will be surprised to see how the essential axis over which his narrative spins round are already there in his first poems, building a sort of a map of what later will define his prose.
