This book is an adaptation of an animation film made by Nina Sabnani at NID, for the Discovery of India Exposition in 1989. It explores the possible origin of zero; it makes a fictional take off on actual research done on the subject. The Bakshali Manuscript of circa 200 AD contains the use of zero in mathematical calculations, which places the story around that time. The author has also researched the people of the period, their trade, trade routes, architecture, dyes used, dress styles, etc. for authenticity in the film which carries into the illustrations. The original manuscript was written on birch bark, hence the birch backdrop on all the illustrations herein. Nº de ref. del artículo: 40692
