Zhatva Dukha: Religiozno-Filosofskie Sochineniia[Harvest of the soul: Regious philosophical essays] - Tapa dura

Elizaveta Iur'evna Pilenko (Kuz'mina-Karavaeva, also know as Mother Maria; Skobtsova) (1891-1945) started her artistic life in the circle of poets and philosophers of the Silver Age: N. Berdiaev, A. Blok, S. Bulgakov, Viach. Ivanov, N. Gumilev, N. Losskii. She underwent many terrible ordeals: the Russian revolution, Civil War, emigrant wandering, life in poverty in Paris, becoming a nun, work in the Resistance, and death in the Ravensbruck camp. This is the first academic publication of her philosophical, theological, and religious works with detailed comments, most of them are previously unknown in Russia. The first work Zhatva Dukha is her version of of lives of Saints, the author approached these stories as a philosopher and poet.
